1.5cupsheavy whipping creamIf not using half & half, use 1.75 cups of heavy whipping cream instead of 1.5 cups.
.5cupshalf and halfOptional; this just makes the chocolate ice cream a little lighter. If not using this, use 1.75 cups of heavy cream instead of 1.5 cups.

.5cupsconfectioners / powdered sweetener
.25cupscocoa powder
1.5tspvanilla extract
2squeezesvanilla Stevia sweetenerOptional
2-3grindssalt of choiceBrings out chocolate flavor
Instructions
Mix all ingredients in a separate bowl. It may take a bit to incorporate the cocoa.
Set up ice cream maker per directions.
Pour ingredients into ice cream maker.
Churn as long as the ice cream maker recommends; ours is about 20 minutes.
Distribute into bowls.
Freeze for 10-20 minutes if your ice cream begins melting quite quickly.
Notes
If you want to add toppings, add them in the last 5 minutes of the churning process. I like to add peanut butter to the chocolate ice cream.
